Aiassa Simone
Ph.D. Candidate at Politecnico di Torino, Electronics Engineering
Simone Aiassa achieved his Banchelor's Degree and his Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in 2014 and 2017, respectively.
He cooperated with Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in his Master’s thesis titled "Low Power Architecture for Address-Event Processing Microcontroller". From November, 2017 he started the Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering at Politecnico di Torino and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), working at the research project "Continuous Monitoring of Anaesthetics Concentration to Control Anaesthesia Delivery", designing and implementating embedded systems for biomedical applications. Research interests include design of low-power digital architectures, bio-inspired and robotic electronics, and biomedical embedded systems.
