Del Bono Fabiana

Ph.D. Candidate at Politecnico di Torino, Electronics Engineering

Fabiana Del Bono achieved her BSc and double MSc at Politecnico di Torino in 2018 and 2020, respectively, the latter in conjunction with Politecnico di Milano and with orientation on Biomedical Instrumentation.

During her master thesis project, “Towards selective recording in the peripheral nervous system using cuff electrodes”, she worked on the multiphysics simulation of minimally invasive interfaces for peripheral nerve recordings, in association with the Next Generation Neural Interfaces Lab at Imperial College London and under the supervision of Prof. Danilo Demarchi. During her master studies, she collaborated with Politecnico di Milano to the development of a fully implantable neural interface for peripheral nerve recordings, supervised by Proff. Danilo Demarchi and Paolo Motto Ros.

Since January 2021 she collaborates with Prof. Danilo Demarchi and the Department of Electronic Engineering of Politecnico di Torino. The main goal of her PhD, starting in November 2021, is the development of electronic circuits and systems for Active Implantable Medical Devices, with particular focus on communication and power supply.
