Alessandro Sanginario

Post-Doc Researcher at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT@Polito)

Alessandro Sanginario graduated on October 9th, 2006 in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino defending a thesis entitled "Realization of microdevices for biomedical analysis with voltammetric methods". From 2006 to 2007 he worked at the Chilab Material and Microsystems Laboratory of Politecnico di Torino, partecipating to the "LATEMAR" project. From 2008 to 2010 he got his Ph.D. in Physics at the Politecnico di Torino defending the thesis entitled “Advanced sensors based on voltammetric and electrochemiluminescent techniques”. During this period he was a visiting scholar at the Vestfold Univeristy College in Norway. Currently he is working as a Post Doc at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT – Italian Institute of Technology) as a system integrator for micro- and nanosensors

His studies concern MEMS and advanced sensors especially for biomedical applications, micro- and nano- system integration and electronics. He is author and co-author of one patent and of more than 30 scientific publications in journals and conference proceedings related to micro and nano electronic systems.
