Post-Doc Researcher at Politecnico di Torino (Department of Elrctronics and Telecommunications)

Stefano Sapienza received the degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Polito), Turin, Italy in 2012 with the thesis work “Design and realization of a Hardware Software interface for EEG signals”.

In 2016 he completed a Ph.D. in Physics at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) with prof. Demarchi's group.

Since 2017 he is working at the Motion Analysis Lab of the Harvard Medical School in Boston. His research activities cover biopotential acquisition systems, bio-inspired electronics and machine learning algorithms for healthcare.

At the moment, he is actively working with Mines group in regard to SISTER project (Smart electronic Iot SysTEms for Rehabilitation sciences), a collaboration of Mines group, Motion analysis Lab and MIT.
