Post-Doc Researcher and PhD Student at Politecnico di Torino, Department of Electronics and Telecommunications

Muhammad Noman was a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He did his graduation in 2008 from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (SEECS), National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. In 2009, he attained his Master’s degree in Microelectronics and Photonics from Hogskolan I Halmstad, Sweden. From 2009 to 2011, he taught many courses at Electronics Engineering department, IQRA national university, Peshawar, Pakistan. In 2012, he pursued his doctoral studies at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, Politecnico di Torino. The title of his Ph.D. thesis was “Electrochemiluminescence devices based on Novel materials for Biosensors”. During his 3-years Ph.D. he has worked on different Novel materials for ElectroChemiLuminesnce (ECL) based Biosensor platforms. His major success was the use of Biomass material for the detection of most widespread ECL Label; Ruthenium Tris Bypiridil (Ru(bpy)32+). He worked in collaboration with different institutes including Houston Methodist Research Institute (Texas, USA), Tyndall National University (Ireland) and IMEM_CNR, university of Parma (Italy). He also worked in research cooperation with the Department of Applied Science and Technology, Politecnico di Torino, where he performed the synthesis of different materials used in ECL technology.
