Ph.D. Candidate at Politecnico di Torino (Electronics Engineering) & Houston Methodist Hospital
Antonia Silvestri received her master degree in Electronic Engineering (2016) at the Politecnico di Torino (Turin, Italy).
She has been at the Khademhosseini Laboratory, at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, MA), in quality of visiting scholar where she worked on her Master’s thesis titled “Integrated microfluidic system for CK-MB biomarker detection and measurement”, focused on the development of a microfluidic aptasensor for automatic and continuous monitoring of enzyme creatine kinase-MB for heart-on-chip via electrochemical measurements.
She has recently started her Ph.D. in 2016 in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino and Houston Methodist Hospital, in Houston (TX) under the supervision of Dr. Alessandro Grattoni and Prof. Danilo Demarchi.
