Miccoli Beatrice
Ph.D. at Politecnico di Torino, Electronics Engineering
Beatrice Miccoli received her BSc in Information Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova in 2012 with final mark 97/110 presenting a BSc thesis about the "Reliability of SRAM and Microprocessors in Spatial Environment". She was selected for a stage at the Astronomical Observatory of Asiago where she worked at the spectroscopy of Orion Nebula and at the Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) of Legnaro where she learned fundamentals about particles accelerators, in 2007 and 2008 respectively. In 2014 she received the MSc in Nanotechology for the ICT from Politecnico di Torino scoring 110/110 and presenting a thesis about "Multi-Sensor Platform for pH and Temperature Measurements in organ-on-a-chip Device s" developed at the Italian Institute of Technology of Turin. From November 2014 she started the Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering at Politecnico di Torino working on the integration of nanostructured materials and electronics for sensing applications. Research interests spread from nanotechnology (fabrication, characterization of nanostructured materials) and nano-sensors towards CMOS post-processing.
